Day 4: Update 11:59pm

I think the phrase is "Slow and Steady wins the race", but in Henry's case, "Slow and Steady wins everything!"

Much like the midday report things are steady which is tredmendous. This evening he was a little bit physcially distressed as he arched his back a few times, but they administered some additional verset to calm him down. Other than that, everything is going slowly but steady, which is all we can ask for at this point. The next 24 hours will be important to see if Henry's lungs are really progressing. Hopefully we will have another day like today with no setbacks.

Becki's Dad and Step Mom from Amarillo couldn't stand being away any longer and drove through the night and arrived in Houston at 5:00 am. It has been nice having them around during the day and this afternoon, Becki's Mom, Teresa (Grammy), got a well deserved Charlie break and was able to spend a couple of hours with Henry.

**This is where we need to send out a HUGE thank you to her- she has taken care of our Charlie in our own home since Monday night when Becki went into labor. She's been trying to keep his life as normal as possible (because that kid LOVES his routines) and then bringing him up here every evening so we can see him. Thank you Grammy! We love you!**

In the meantime today Charlie, Amy (Mamy), Maury (Pops), and I hung out across the street at Hermann Park for a couple of hours, taking in the 10 out of 10 weather today in lovely Houston.

Later this evening we enjoyed some cookies at the Ronald McDonald house and Charlie played with another big brother worried about his sibling in the break room.

I can't help but share some other concerning news that Becki's cousin- Sarah Woolery's husband, Jason Woolery has been in a terrible car accident and is stable but among many things, broke the largest bone in his body..his femur. I understand they were headed to Houston to be with us as soon as Jason ran a few errands and he lost control of the car. I have not had a chance to get fully updated, but please send out additional prayers for Sarah and Jason Woolery.

Needless to say, God will be multitasking this family for a bit.

Thanks again for all the support and words cannot express our grattitude.
